Hot dogs

Yesterday was a lovely spring day. The sun was shining, it was 70 degrees, people were out exercising... It was a perfect day for standing in line for two hours... for HOT DOGS! Russ and I went to Hot Doug's once last year and I thought I'd never go back, because I overflowed their toilet (on a onesie!) and ran out of there without telling them. But a safe amount of time had passed. I don't really know if these hot dogs are actually good or if they just taste good after waiting in line for two hours. Or if we're just idiots.

After eating, we went back to Evanston, to the lake. It was beautifully foggy, and hard to tell where the lake ended and the sky began.

This is my usual spot.

More lake and sun

Walks

I've been walking to the lake almost every day after work, or when the weather is nice. I'm trying to take it in before I move to North Carolina next month. (I'm also trying to cancel out my Daily Drink.) That's right, nerds, I'm moving again—May 31st. So if you know an employer in the Asheville area who can give me a job and my own private bathroom, please tell him or her or him-her that I am very smart and healthy and can lift up to three pounds if I'm wearing a weight belt.

These are from a couple weeks ago:

Go Green!

As you all should know, Michigan State has made it to the finals in the NCAA thingy. I am very somewhat excited about this, and have become a fan of MSU basketball since the last half of the elite eight game.

For the final four game on Saturday night, I made Russ an honorary Spartan and we went to a Michigan State bar in Lincoln Park. It was packed with drunk Spartans shouting "Go Green!" just like old times. I had a lot of fun, and realized that basketball is not about knowing players or rules or how to count points—it's about drinking and yelling and swearing, and I LOVE those things! Sparty on!

This should make my mumma proud.

I love bros hugging bros.

Stopping at Taco Bell. You know, you know.
